TEaching assistant-King Offa

I began my Teaching Assistant Level 3 apprenticeship in October 2022. The opportunity to train with East Sussex college group, facilitated by Aurora, has been invaluable.

Through the course, the knowledge I’ve gained in curriculum, development and supporting SLC, EAL and SEND pupils has been so useful in my daily practise at King Offa Primary Academy! 

Soon to finish in the next few months, I feel more confident in my day-to-day responsibilities and activities with the children, and in turn have become a more efficient team member.

Plus, I’ll get the best of both worlds delving into teaching when I cover lessons!”
