Aurora development day

Aurora was delighted to bring together over four hundred staff on two sites for the first trust wide training day of the academic year. This was the first of three days this year when staff from our seven schools join together to share their expertise and learn from each other. Over the last three years, staff across the trust have collaborated to create excellent curriculums for all our schools and this year our development days shift their focus to looking at how we can further enhance the pedagogy used. Subject specialists spent time looking carefully at the best teaching and learning approaches for the different National Curriculum subjects and considered how we can make teaching even better. In addition to the work on pedagogy, our talented support and admin teams came together to share best practice and make connections with colleagues in schools within Aurora.
