  • THE AURORA MISSION

Creating opportunity and success for all our pupils

    Welcome

    James Freeston
    Chief Executive Officer

Aurora Academies Trust was founded in 2012 to provide opportunities and success for all our pupils. We aim to prepare them for success in later life, be that at college, university or in the world of work.

Aurora operates 7 academies, serving over 3,000 children aged from 2 to 16, and we employ over 400 staff. Aurora exists to improve educational and other outcomes for every one of our children and they are at the centre of all that we do. Collaboration lies at the heart of the work of Aurora. Each Aurora school has its own unique identity and place in its local community. However, we have developed common approaches in key areas that contribute to our collective improvement.

I hope that you find the information on the website helpful and it provides you with a useful insight into the way Aurora works to support schools and the pupils we serve. Please get in touch if you'd like to find out more.
