  • THE AURORA MISSION

Creating opportunity and success for all our pupils

    Safeguarding

Aurora Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We promote a positive safeguarding culture by recognising that the right values, behaviour and attitudes are key, whilst providing opportunities for pupil voice to be heard and understood.

As part of our approach to ensuring that robust and effective safeguarding systems are in place, we have a named School Improvement Partner for Safeguarding and Attendance – Heidi Attwood. Her role includes coordinating safeguarding policy and procedure across the trust, providing training to ensure everyone keeps up to date with the latest guidance and development, support and advice for the Designated Safeguarding Leads, as well as being present in schools as much as possible to provide on-the-ground support.
